Dr. Caitlin “Caity” McCauley has been interested in optometry since she was 15 years old. In high school, she started at the family practice as an optometric assistant and never looked back. 

Dr. McCauley graduated top 10 in her class at Ohio State University, first in 2003 with her Bachelor of Science and then in 2007 with her Doctorate of Optometry. She completed rotations in ocular disease and contact lenses, as well as externships at the Dayton VA hospital and with LASIK specialists in Canton, Ohio. 

With a particular interest and passion for pediatric vision, Dr. McCauley remains the practice’s resident authority on children’s eye care, including myopia control. Supporting and interacting with her incredible patients brings Dr. McCauley a strong sense of fulfillment in her work. 

When she’s not hard at work in the office, you can find Caitlin cheering on the Buckeyes, out for run, or spending time with her 3 boys, Henry, Charlie, and Richie.

Dr. Lindsay McCauley started with our practice in 2009. During her time at Robert E. Cook Honors College, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, she met a young nursing major whose father urged her to explore optometry. In 2009, Dr. McCauley graduated with her Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. 

Dr. McCauley completed externships with Associates in Ophthalmology and Seidenberg Protzko Ophthalmology. She has a particular interest in cataract co-management, multifocal contact lenses, pediatric vision, and binocular vision. 

Friendly and caring, Dr. McCauley finds her daily work incredibly rewarding. Her patients are like family and being able to chat with each one of them, learn about their lives and families, is her favorite part of the job.

When Lindsay isn’t at the office, you might find her traveling the world, cooking up a storm, or spending time with her lovely family of 3 young boys.

Dr. Emily Dean has always been passionate about caring for other people. While obtaining her bachelor of science from Penn State University, Dr. Dean’s interest in the eye care industry started to grow. After graduating in 2012, Dr. Dean went to Illinois College of Optometry to obtain her Doctorate of Optometry.

During her schooling, Dr. Dean completed four clinical externships focusing on primary care, ocular disease, pediatrics, and contact lenses. Now Dr. Dean focuses on myopia control and aesthetic optometry. 

Dr. Dean loves being able to work with and help her lovely patients in a field that is interesting and ever-evolving. 

In her spare time, Dr. Dean enjoys traveling, staying active, and spending time with her husband Matt and their yellow lab Hugo. 

Patient and easy-going, Dr. Lauren Peirish provides high quality care to every patient that walks through our doors. 

Dr. Peirish graduated from Wake Forest University in 2015 with a bachelor of science before attending Salus University to obtain her doctor of optometry. After graduating in 2019, Dr. Peirish continued to advance her studies in binocular vision and vision therapy at Pennsylvania College of Optometry.

Throughout her schooling, Dr. Peirish participated in 5 clinical externships throughout Pittsburgh and Charlotte focusing on primary care, disease, pediatrics, and contact lenses. 

Dr. Peirish enjoys providing primary care, with a focus on myopia control. She’s truly grateful for having the honor of caring for her patient’s eyesight. She loves getting to know her patients and helping them in any way she can, whether it’s improving their vision with corrective lenses, preserving their eyesight with diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases, helping them find relief from eye conditions, or caring for them pre and post ocular surgery.  

When she’s not at work, Dr. Peirish enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, John and newborn son, John Paul (“JP”). 

Dr. Molly Proud is known for her empathetic and down-to-earth approach to eye care. She believes that understanding her patients begins with a genuine connection, taking time to explain each diagnosis in clear, relatable terms so patients feel confident about their eye health.

With specialized expertise in low vision and specialty contact lenses, including scleral lenses, Dr. Molly is passionate about helping patients find practical solutions that improve both comfort and quality of life. She finds deep fulfillment in solving complex vision challenges and in the long-term relationships that come from caring for patients year after year.

Dr. Molly earned her Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2019, where she was awarded a Gold Key and completed the Advanced Clinical Program. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Allegheny College. She is an active member of the American Academy of Optometry (AAO), the Pennsylvania Optometric Association (POA), and the Western Pennsylvania Optometric Society (WPOS).

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Molly enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her husband, Owen, and their daughters, Keira and Hallie.

Dr. Bridget Lorenz takes the time to get to know you, providing innovative and personalized solutions for your vision and eye health needs.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, and her Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University, where she was honored as the 2020 Graduate of the Year by the clinical faculty.

Dr. Lorenz began her career at an ophthalmology practice, gaining extensive experience in medical eye care, including pre- and post-operative surgical care. She is deeply committed to comprehensive, compassionate care – prioritizing both the health of your eyes and helping you achieve your best possible vision. She has a special interest in treating dry eye, ocular allergies, and ocular surface disease.

Outside the office, Dr. Lorenz enjoys exploring new restaurants, running, and applying her love of optics to photography. She met her husband, Justin, in optometry school – he’s also an optometrist! Together they have a son, Charlie, and a mini Goldendoodle.
